» HeadNorth 3rd Annual Golf Tournament
Jeff Richards, Molly Hobin, Eric Northbrook, Paul King and Eric Hasserjian at the 3rd Annual Golf Tournament
THANK YOU: On behalf of the Spinal Cord Community (SCI) and the rest of the HeadNorth members, I wish to thank everyone who participated in the 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on June 17th 2008. Because of your generosity the amount we raised exceeded the goal of $200,000 we set to support our organization’s projects. Your donation will greatly assist in funding our mission, to provide essential support and guidance to individuals and families affected by spinal cord injuries in the greater San Diego County.
Sincerely,
Randal Schober
Executive Director
» 26 days. 30 games. Guinness Book record Attempt. Benefiting HeadNorth.

Douglas 'Chuck' Booth is on a potentially record-breaking journey to catch all 30 Major League Baseball teams in their home stadiums. Although he's doing the trip on his own dime, paid for by working seven days a week delivering pizza and as a courier, Booth hopes his world-record attempt will draw attention and donations to the HeadNorth Foundation, a non-profit organization helping people who have spinal cord injuries and paralysis. The story of Jim MacLaren, an athlete-turned-quadriplegic motivational speaker, was a turning point that refocused his goal.
